Today I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Judge of Delaware County Circuit Court 1 to be elected in November 2022. My long-term goal is to serve our community as a Circuit Court Judge, and I now have that opportunity with the impending vacancy created by the Honorable Marianne L. Vorhees’s retirement.
For the past six years, I have proudly served our community as Judge of Muncie City Court, since being first appointed by Governor Mike Pence on July 6, 2015. I am a staunch defender of the rule of law and run a court that treats all who enter with respect, dignity, and patience, and focus on making just and fair decisions. As a judge and an attorney, I have the understanding needed to lead an impartial and unbiased Circuit Court.
Fortunately, an election cycle is one of the few times a judge can directly interact with members of the community on issues affecting the judicial system. During this election season, I look forward to this opportunity to connect with interested residents of Delaware County such as yourself to discuss ways that I, as your next Circuit Court Judge, can do my part to ensure faith and trust in our judicial system.
