About Judge Amanda Dunnuck

Muncie City Court Judge Amanda Dunnuck has been serving Delaware County citizens since 2003, first as a practicing attorney and then as Muncie City Court Judge upon her appointment by Gov. Mike Pence in 2015. She is currently in her second elected term on the bench.

  • Criminal trial practice, 2003 – 2015.

  • Judicially appointed as Guardian Ad Litem, Personal Representative and Financial Guardian on a variety of matters before the court.
  • Represented Delaware County Council, 2009-2015.

Judicial Experience

  • Appointed Judge Pro Tem by other judges to handle major felony cases and civil matters in their absence.
  • Appointed Muncie City Court Judge by Gov. Mike Pence, 2015; now completing second elected term.
  • Restructured court operations to include new due process safeguards, modernizing electronic technology, and reducing the courts active caseload by more than 50%.
  • Court budget, administration and personnel management.

Civic Involvement

  • Currently working with community stakeholders to establish a crisis center in Delaware County for in-need and at-risk county residents.
